About Us

THE COUNTY JOURNAL – “EATON COUNTY’S ADVERTISING & NEWS JOURNAL” DELIVERED TO YOU WEEKLY SATURDAY. The County Journal’s formula for a successful local newspaper and advertising medium is very simple. “Provide the readers in every community in which we serve with what they want, give the advertisers what they need and make sure it gets into … Every Home, Business and Apartment Every Week.” Our loyal readers look to The County Journal to be better informed on what’s happening in the neighborhoods in which they live, work and play. They enjoy the stories and find the information that is important to them… information they can not read anywhere else plus, the best advertised specials in Eaton County. All of the local content and advertising in the world means absolutely nothing without a proper distribution system. The County Journal newspaper is distributed to every home and business within the communities that we serve. This provides our advertisers with blanket coverage in their market area that is unavailable in any other medium. The County Journal classifieds are another important resource for our readers, from finding the services they need to advertising their garage sales and other cash raising items. The County Journal reaches over 48,750 people in eight communities every Saturday. No other publication, radio, or TV station, has a greater market penetration and readership in our market area than The County Journal. Our entire team of associates pledge to provide our readers with the best local news, advertised specials and opportunities that Eaton County has to offer. We have an extreme obligation to all of our advertisers to expose their message to all of our readers. By spreading your classifieds, display advertising, and news throughout the publication we are encouraging everyone to read every message from page one to the very last page. That is best described as improved communication for every reader, advertiser, and community we serve. Providing our readers with the information they want and our advertisers the readership they demand, makes The County Journal, “Eaton County’s Favorite Advertising And News Journal”. Some may not realize it but The County Journal also offers many years of combined experience for all of your professional printing needs. From business cards to books, wedding invitations, rubber stamps and more, supported by a group of graphic artists that are second to none, advertising agency quality, product and knowledge result in only the finest products and services available.
